The Tower of a Thousand Tales
Last winter I reconnected with a friend and colleague of mine with whom I used to work more than 10 years ago. He has moved to another city and started a new company that morphed into a very successful one (here's his blog). While he was showing me his work, an engine to create full procedural words, I was struck by inspiration, unlike anything before in the last five years.
I came up with this idea for a videogame with infinite replayability, in which not only the game world but the game design too is procedurally generated. The spark for my new project The Tower of a Thousand Tales was born.
I've been working on it for the past six months now, and it's starting to take shape. I'm planning to create a dedicated page to it and starting to blog more consistently soon. For now, see below a screenshot of my current prototype.
